6th Launch s’more-006
Goal was higher altitude by pumping out balloons before fill with helium. Used “Party Factory” helium. Float acheived at 8.2-8.4 km a new record for me.
Implemented 3rd telemetry packet and decoded from air for first time.
Problems: very weak transmission (was antenna damaged?) so minimal spots reported. The “count” variable in the 3rd telemetry packet indicates the balloon is powered reliably.
Smore-006 is similar to smore-005, with the same goal of acheiving higher altitude, and this time, hopefully receving some data back. The u4b is sending a third telemetry packet as well. The balloons were pumped out with the pump in reverse to evacuate any air before filling with Helium. Telemetry was decoded on the ground. The launch went well, the balloon rose.

Smore-006 is similar to smore-005 using the same zener and 3 half-solar panel design.
